Steve Hambek, Kiwanis President presents a $1000 donation to the Seward Youth Center Board.

Helping Hands Club members participated in the 2012 Legislative day visiting with Senator Adams.

Kiwanis OneDay was a success on April 7 with 17 workers updating and maintaining the Youth Center.

The Helping Hands Kiwanis Club of Seward was chartered on March 23, 2009. Currently, there are 30 members. It is a contemporary Kiwanis Club for busy people who want to make a difference in their community, yet serve the needs of others.

Kiwanis is a "global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time." Seward Helping Hands strives to serve the community and focus service on youth initiatives and projects. Involvement with the Seward Youth Center has been a priority and the working relationship there continues to grow.

Making life-changing opportunities for young people and involving the support of the community is just one of the goals for the Helping Hands Kiwanis Club.

Helping Hands Kiwanis of Seward meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month in the second level conference room at the Cattle National Bank and Trust, 104 South 5th Street, Seward.  Meetings begin at 6:30 PM.
